More space for your life. We've started production on the 2027 "Forte Planner" ✨

Hello everyone! It has been several months since the 2026 Forte Diary began accompanying you in your daily lives. With your planner in hand, do you ever feel a sense of "whitespace" that calms your mind?
Actually, Forte is already taking a new step towards creating the 2027 edition. You might be thinking, "It's only April?" but this is a planner that holds the precious time of your life, once a year. We want to nurture it slowly, without any compromises... With that in mind, we are at our desks working on it.

From "Time Management" to "Canvas": The Meaning Behind the Name
The big theme for the 2027 edition is the evolution from a "tool for management" to a "canvas for self-expression."
To embody this decision, from the 2027 edition, the name of the planner will be changed to "Forte Planner" (Forte Diary will continue to be cherished as a brand name).
We want you to not just complete "tasks," but to plan your own "freedom" and "whitespace" with your own hands. To achieve this, we have subtracted the "lines" and "frames"—the noise that previously divided pages—down to the millisecond. The removal of lines creates a luxuriously free space where writers can breathe and expand their thoughts.
Re-envisioning the Seasons as "Scenery"
The way we present the "24 Sekki" (24 solar terms), which Forte values, will also be updated to be more intuitive. For the 2027 edition, in addition to emotional explanations, we have added beautiful English notations.
For example, "Taisetsu" (Heavy Snow) in December. With just a single line of "Greater Snow" next to it, doesn't a quiet, white, silvery world of steadily falling snow instantly come to mind?
Furthermore, we have refreshed some of the language on the "My Life Planner" page. This is a mechanism to help you visualize the comfortable "scenery" that unfolds when you look up, even more vividly.
It's okay to have more "whitespace" in life
The most important message I want to deliver to all of you through the Forte Planner 2027 is this:
"It's okay to have more whitespace in life."
Are you caught in a daily routine of just filling up tasks? Take time when you intentionally don't schedule anything. The luxury of doing nothing. I believe it is precisely because of such "whitespace" that we can deeply connect with our true core and with the people who matter most to us.
We hope that Forte Planner 2027 will be a vessel that gently protects your "precious blanks."
Together, for the best planner
Moving forward, we will regularly share with you in our newsletter the process of meticulously selecting cover colors, verifying paper textures, and every other detail. If you haven't subscribed to our newsletter yet, please enter your email at the bottom of the screen under "Receive updates from Forte Diary."
"I wanted a page like this," "This whitespace feels comfortable"—each and every one of your comments is the greatest nourishment that makes Forte shine even brighter.
Imagining what kind of "scenery" you will enjoy and what kind of "whitespace" you will have in 2027, we will proceed with the design, putting our heart and soul into each page. Please look forward to it.
